I have lived in Jersey since April 2017 and have been apart of the team at Samphire since July 2017. I run the marketing and events and was privileged to be part of our recent re-brand. Before Jersey I travelled through France and India after moving from Australia where I worked in Luxury resorts across the country.

What is your favourite beach or place in Jersey & why?

It is hard to pin point one beach as there is so many beautiful spots all unique from one another. I enjoy Havre Des Pas as it is close to town and the Lido is stunning, but Portelet Bay is one I enjoy escaping too. I also love St Ouen’s for a cold beer and some music, as well as St Brelades for some lunch or a summer dinner.

Where is your favourite place to stay in Jersey or where would you like to stay if you had the opportunity?

St Brelades is a nice little escape. Although I haven’t stayed in many places other than St Helier in Jersey. I can imagine spending a weekend in the ‘countryside’ around St Lawrence would be lovely also.

What event in the Jersey calendar do you frequent or do you have a particular favourite entertainment venue?

I have to say The Don above Samphire as it’s a city escape. The beautiful roof terrace is secluded and it’s a great place to enjoy a delicious cocktail and listen to the resident DJs whilst still being in the heart of St Helier.

Is there a favourite place that you go for either a sporting or leisure activity?

I often visit Kalimukti Yoga Studio in St helier which is beautiful and has some great classes as well as Sunday beach yoga which is a great way to experience one of Jerseys many beaches.

Where is your favourite place to dine and why?

Samphire Restaurant because there is something for everyone and close by to many other great places to have a drink afterwards. The food is always amazing and service just as incredible. A great selection of wine and they can cater to every dietary requirement.

Do you have a favourite venue where you like to go and socialise?

Again, The Don. However if I am looking to head out and see everyone the yacht is a good place to socialise.

Is there a place where you just like to go to relax and chill out?

I enjoy sitting on the terrace at the Grand Hotel and anywhere in St Aubins or St Brelades.

Can you give 3 words which describe the best things about Jersey for you?

Beaches, vibrancy (events), people (local and friendly)

What do you think about Vibrant Jersey and our aims / values?

I think its very easy to navigate, and there are good categories with room to grow with all of the things Jersey has to offer.
