1840 The beginnings of the Prince’s Tower Hotel – Tales and music by Cally Noel

Tuesdays 10am to 4pm

La Hougue Bie had become such an attraction for visitors, poets, musicians and artists that a Hotel had been constructed in the grounds. The owner dug a well and a ‘Prive’ at the foot of the mound, and soon guests were booking in for holidays, staying for up to three weeks, going for country walks and carriage rides, site-seeing and breathing in the ‘good air’, escaping the smog of city life.
