Learn how to make your own sourdough bread in the Trust’s very own watermill using our freshly milled stoneground flour. Artisan baker Richie Howell of Pain de Famille will guide participants through the whole bread making process from start to finish ‒ from preparing the ferment and mixing the dough to proving and baking their own traditional loaf of bread. This advanced class is aimed at bakers with some experience. As well as learning how to make a traditional loaf, you will also learn several different shaping techniques and how to incorporate your own flavourings.
