At the zoo we will be celebrating the launch of the Jèrriais translation of Michael Rosen’s classic picture book J’allons à la chasse à l’ourse – We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.
Take part in a range of fun bear-themed events while learning about Jèrriais, Jersey’s unique and beautiful language.
Programme of events:
*10:30am-3:30pm: Children’s activities in the Durrell Discovery Centre
*11am: Bear Talk at the bear enclosure
*12-12:30pm: Storytime and Bear Hunt starting at the bear enclosure
*2-2:30pm: Storytime and Bear Hunt starting at the bear enclosure
