We are an informal gathering of makers, DIY designers and enthusiasts exploring 3D printing and maker culture. If you have an interest in being creative and making things, this is for you. We enjoy hearing about people’s ideas and support one another with projects.
During our fortnightly meet-ups at the Library’s Eagle Lab we sometimes give short demonstrations of creative processes and show and share projects people are working on. People can contribute as much or as little as they wish – if you are just curious, pop in for a chat and cuppa.
Technical areas of interest include:
3D printing and design
Laser cutting, CNC and other maker tools
Robots, Raspberry Pi, Arduino and Hardware
Re-purposing and recycling
…and any other interesting ideas people bring.
Children who are interested in technology are welcome, accompanied and supervised by an adult
