Really Wild Day featuring Superhero Safari

Join us at Jersey Zoo on Sunday 13th May for a family day out that lets you walk on the wild side!

After The Durrell Challenge 13k race, the Zoo will be open to everyone for a ‘Really Wild Day‘ out. Head back to nature, kick off your shoes and feel the grass between your toes. Enjoy food and drink in our beautiful, natural settings. Let your little monkeys roam free and enjoy barefoot walking trails, magical storytelling and many more wild activities.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children under 10-years-old. Members go free, but booking is essential.

The Superhero Safari, kindly sponsored by Appleby, is a fun new adventure for 2018. Children under the age of 10 are invited to complete an important mission for Durrell!

The Mission:
Young adventurers will need to seek out all the superhero animals at the Zoo and discover what their unique superpowers are. Each child will receive a mission booklet to complete, answering questions on the superpowers of each animal. Your mission will take you around the beautiful grounds, through the lush gardens and hidden pathways of the Zoo. Make sure you collect a sticker at each station!

If you return to ‘mission control’ unscathed, with your booklet full of correct answers and stickers, you will be entered into the ‘SUPER’ prize draw for the chance to meet Henry Cavill, have a photo opportunity and receive a signed t-shirt.

The Fun Element:
In honour of our Ambassador, Henry Cavill, we ask that all Superhero Safari entrants embrace their inner Superheroes and come in fancy dress!

Buggies and accompanying parents are welcome too, however skateboards and bicycles are not permitted.
