A deeply layered story about the lives of different generations of a family. Robert Guediguian, the great humanist French filmmaker, again works with the family of actors that have graced many of his films. This beautifully observed drama hones in middle-aged siblings tending their father at their holiday home in an abandoned fishing village in the Calanques, Marseilles. Each has lived a very different life, and through a dramatic intervention, they are coaxed out of their reflective states and towards renewed bonds of family and unity.

Claude Libre
Director: Thomas Buisson / France / 2018 / 18 mins
65-year-old Claude zooms about on her little motorbike, scratching scratch cards and living off bogus cheques. But the local population has had enough. The old lady must either settle down or disappear. Inspired by a small news story.
We are delighted to welcome director Thomas Buisson and producer Arnaud Bruitton to introduce their film.
