Wednesday 21st March is World Down Syndrome Awareness Day. This year the Down Syndrome Association is running a #LotsOfSocks campaign encouraging everyone to wear odd socks to raise awareness for Down Syndrome.
We would like to invite everyone to take part to raise awareness of Down Syndrome and raise money for Les Amis, a charity that provides respite care for islanders with learning disabilities. Many of the residents at Les Amis have Down Syndrome and access the services at Les Amis so they can receive the support they need to have a good day every day.
If you would like to take part in #LotsOfSocks we recommend a donation of £1 per person to Les Amis and we would love to see all your pictures of odd socks.
