Our Mission

The mission of Vibrant Jersey is to advance the prosperity of Jersey’s visitor economy and the livelihoods that depend on it. This is achieved by advertising and to connect local commerce, increasing consumer buying power whilst driving more business to local merchants through price and discovery.

Vibrant Jersey's aims are to bring our community together and to represent the voice of Jersey residents in the promotion of our island. By participating in this event you will be helping to achieve this aim.

Vibrant Jersey is committed to the support and promoting of live music in Jersey by featuring local artists and raising the awareness of local gigs through our events calendar.

Rules

  • Entry to the contest will commence on 25th January and will run until 21st February 2021
  • All entrants must be either resident of, or born in Jersey
  • Unlimited entries can be made within the respective categories
  • All music videos will be grouped into their respective categories, whereupon initial judging will take place. The top 10 from each category will then go forward to our independent panel of judges to determine the winners & runners-up. (The judges decision will be final). Please feel free to like and share the contestants entries through social media to give them your support.
  • The results will be announced both on our website and through our social media network.
  • All winners will also be notified by Email
  • The competition will be run and administered by Vibrant Jersey Group.
  • All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries for the competition that is required will remain the property of Vibrant Jersey Group, who may publish or cause to be published, any of the entries received

    Runner-Up - 4 hour lesson with tutor instruments of choice can be split or booked as one instrument, Guitar, guitar/singing, Bass tutor, Drums at Jenca Music School
  • Under 18's Female / Male Soloist - Term of group lessons at Progressive School of Music & £15 Island Music Voucher
    Runner-Up - Two hour music production lesson with Olly Rybarzcuk at The JAMM Studios
  • Over 18's Female / Male Soloist – Song Recording at Right There Recording & £15 Island Music Voucher
  • Under 18's Duet - Term of group lessons at Progressive School of Music & £15 Island Music Voucher
    Over 18's Duet – 12 Free rehearsal sessions for one evening / week (term time only) for 2021 at Youth Arts Jersey & £15 Island Music Voucher
  • Under 18's Group - Term of group lessons at Progressive School of Music & £15 Island Music Voucher
    Runner-Up - Two hours maximum Band mentoring for up to 6 players, writing a song together, mixing and recording at Jenca Music School
  • Over 18's Group – 12 Free rehearsal sessions for one evening / week (term time only) for 2021 at Youth Arts Jersey & £15 Island Music Voucher
  • Over 25's Female / Male Soloist - 2 hour session recording of one song, mixing and producing/recording demo at The JAMM Studios & £15 Island Music Voucher
  • Over 25's Duet / Group – Opportunity to Headline the “Winners” Concert & £15 Island Music Voucher
  • All prizes will be subject to Government of Jersey restrictions on social distancing and gatherings
  • The following prizes will be selected at random for people sharing details of this competition through their social media
