‘Make Do And Mend’ is an original musical about the Occupation and Liberation of Jersey.
It is told through the eyes of Collette, an eleven-year-old diary writer. The scenes she documents are brought to life through music and drama.
The musical was written by Mark Atkinson and Jan Holdstock in 1995 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation, and to capture some of the eye-witness stories for a future audience.
