Tour de Jersey 2023

Join us on 9th July on two wheels for a gentle spin or a 100km leg stretcher as the Tour de Jersey returns for 2023.
Open to all cyclists.
Jersey is packed with diverse, beautiful cycle routes from gentle green lanes, to stunning seascapes and pulse-racing hills. Our nine miles by five give the perfect opportunity for a fantastic day of cycling for all ages, all abilities and all types of cyclists. So why not get on your bike and help Jersey Hospice raise much needed funds for all those who need our specialist care. Sponsored by Ravenscroft, Sunday 9th July promises to be great day out with family and friends.
Choose from one of four routes, built with all abilities in mind. From families with little ones beginning to venture out on their bikes, to cyclists looking to build more confidence over longer distances or avid cyclists ready for the 100km leg stretcher, then we have something for everyone.
The Routes
This year’s routes have been built with all abilities in mind; whether you are an avid cyclist who wants to leg stretch to 100km, an intermediate cyclist wanting to take on a 50km challenge, a family of beginner cyclists wishing to take on a 24km route, or want to introduce brand new cyclists to a gentle 7km cycle.
For serious cyclists who want to take on a challenge, this leg stretch of a route around the Island, takes in many hills and stunning scenery.
A challenge but achievable, the 50km route is designed for cyclists who want to be challenged but don’t yet feel confident taking on the full 100km. Features some hills and leg stretch areas.
24km Family Route
A great route for the younger cyclists or those who are just starting to cycle longer distances. This route starts at Albert pier and follows the cycle track all the way to Corbiere and back.
7km Family Route
Our 7km family route has something for the novice and young cyclists, or those on scooters and balance bikes. This route starts at Albert Pier and follows the cycle track to the burger bar and back
Start times:
The 100km and 50km will leave the Albert Pier at 0700; registration is open from 0630.
The family routes will leave the Albert Pier at 1030; registration is open from 1000.
What type of bike can I use?
Any roadworthy bike is suitable. We also include electric bikes, to enable more people to take part and stay active. You could even hire an Evie bike and take on one of the routes.
Scooters and balance bikes are strictly limited to use by our younger participants and only permitted on the 7km route.
How do I help raise money for Jersey Hospice Care?
Once you have registered for Tour de Jersey you will be able to set up a sponsorship page to allow your family and friends to sponsor you for your efforts. We ask all participants to try and raise a minimum of £50. These vital donations support our care within the community and ensure that all care is free for every islander.
