Diane Monier Moore – Jersey Festival of Words

In this talk Diane presents her latest book, Immoralists and Drama Queens, which chronicles the visits to Jersey of a group of French and Belgian writers and artists between 1907 and 1909. While future Nobel-laureate André Gide might be the best known, Neo-Impressionist painter Théo Van Rysselberghe and dramatist Jacques Copeau are amongst the others. Looking at their writings, paintings and work produced in Jersey, Diane expands upon their extravagant lifestyles and relationships. This richly-illustrated book is a quality publication by Blue Ormer.
