Threads of Culture: Celebrating Portugal and Madeira through Felt
Join us for a special afternoon of creativity, connection and culture as part of our Threads of Culture series, a programme of free workshops celebrating the communities that call Jersey home.
In this session, we will be inspired by the vibrant colours and joyful traditions of the Festas de São João to create your own colourful needle felted decorations. Expect playful shapes, bold colour and a sense of celebration through making. No experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and an open heart.
These workshops are designed as welcoming and relaxed spaces where creativity becomes a bridge between cultures. Together, we slow down, make with our hands, and connect through shared experience, celebrating diversity while nurturing a sense of belonging across our island community.
