Olivia Beuzeval

I have always been considered the creative one in my family. From an early age, I was frustrating my parents by the different colours of paint I would get over the cream carpet in my bedroom and staying up into the early hours of the morning listing to art documentaries whilst I painted away.

I took art at GCSE and achieved a high grade, but whilst I did not take art as an ALevel my desire to be creative never left. I have constantly kept being creative in some way or another and over the last few years have tried various mediums I wouldn’t have otherwise. This ranges from resin chopping boards, clay sculptures, painting and drawing to knitting and photography – I love it all.
Over the last few months, I have been focusing on learning how to use gouache, watercolours and coloured pencils together to create mixed media pieces and have enjoyed using various mediums together than just one by itself.
I feel like I am only getting started into my creative journey, and I hope to continue developing my skills and putting more of my artwork out there for the world to see.
