As part of our festive music programme at 16 New Street, we are very excited to be welcoming talented local singer Georgia Mae Bishop to the beautiful oak panelled Club Room, where she will entertain with opera favourites and some festive treats! Accompanied by well known pianist Grace Garnier, this is not to be missed.
There will be a Q and A, refreshments and the opportunity to mingle with your fellow guests and Georgia after the performance.
Georgia Mae Bishop is mezzo-soprano currently based in the UK hailing from a family of jazz musicians in St Lawrence, Jersey.
She has performed with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, English National Opera, Opera North and Garsington Opera, and earlier this year was creative director for sell out performances of Held in the Tide, a new co-created opera (music by Charlotte Marlow) commissioned by ArtHouse Jersey at the Jersey Opera House.
Our door will open early, and the shop will be open for some festive browsing!
