Come and explore over 30 rooms of multiple bunkers, trenches and gun emplacements including the massive multi-floored ‘Noirmont Command Bunker’ and the 5 floors of the neighbouring observation tower, both with working WW2 periscopes, binoculars, rangefinders and telescopes plus get hands on with many of the well-known WW2 weapons! The Jersey War Tours Shop offers some very interesting militaria & locally produced gifts for those loved ones that are hard to buy for!

Explore the vast hidden sprawling complex that is Number 4 Gun Position with a 25 man personnel shelter linked by a network of underground corridors to two ammunition bunkers, an emplacement for a 15cm turreted gun with supporting underground infrastructure plus an emplacement mounting an original 155mm ex-French Field gun. The complex offers multiple restored rooms, exhibits and audiovisual displays covering all aspects the Occupation including civilian and the Liberation.

Our friends of The Jersey Fortifications Study Group are opening their restored personnel shelter on Monday from 11am until about 4pm with exterior displays, military vehicles (weather permitting) plus a selection of militaria & books on sale to help raise funds for the sterling work they do! Admission is free but donations are welcome.
Whether you’re a history buff, enthusiast or simply seeking a unique outing, discover some of the best preserved & restored WW2 German fortifications in Europe today maintained by the C.I. Occupation Society since the late 1970s by dedicated passionate and knowledgeable volunteers who present sites with a ‘working atmosphere’ feel where you can get ‘hands on’ with weapons and equipment plus many sites also have details of original crew members who returned post war!
