Every year up to 1,300 yellow ducks, which have been numbered individually on their bottoms, are launched into the stream at Le Perquage at Sandybrook.
They ‘race’ downstream to the finishing point and the first three ducks across the line win a prize.
The event, which is generously sponsored by Romerils, includes plenty of other activities for families to enjoy along the Perquage, including charity stalls, a bouncy castle and face-painting.
Dr Helen Miles, Vice Chairman of Autism Jersey, said: “Every year the duck race is a great, fun event with lots of families coming down to take part. We are grateful to Romerils for their support.”
