What exactly is the meaning of biodiversity and why does it matter?

Join renowned naturalist John, who will guide you through the exquisite beauty of St Catherine’s Woods, the Island’s most ecologically significant woodland. Along the way, you’ll gain an understanding of the importance of our biodiversity, the challenges our ecosystems face, and the steps we can take to protect and preserve our special sites of interest.

Duration: About 1.5 hours long. Difficulty: Easy to medium.

Start and finish at the car park at the base of the woods, Le Mazeline Reservoir. Bus 2. This route follows tracks that may be muddy. Please wear sensible footwear such as trainers, you’ll be walking over uneven and maybe wet paths.
