Gorey Fete

Get ready for the highlight of the summer! The much-loved Gorey fête is back.

A community fete organised and run by volunteers with all profits going to a local charity

Jersey Stroke Support.

The Gorey Fete is one of the largest annual charity events of the year.
Set in the picturesque harbour of Gorey, there is fun for all the family from beach events, face painting to fair ground rides and crown and anchor.
Stage events include live music and the famous yard of ale and spaghetti eating competitions.

  • 1pm Mike Hutchings Family sing-along show

  • 1.45pm Official Fete Opening

  • 2pm Bonnie Baby Competition

  • 2.30pm Jasmine Derrien – Local Signer Songwriter

  • 3.30pm Parish 13 – 5 Piece Quirky Folk Music Band

  • 4.30pm Pam Bindi – Funky Groove Music Band

  • 5.30pm Bunkface – Punk Pop Band

  • 7.30pm Spaghetti Eating Competition

  • 8.00pm Yard of Ale Competition

  • 8.45pm Backbeat – Cheese and Party Music

  • 10.30pm Fireworks

You might also see some fabulous Street Performers on the day – Butterfly Girls, Mirror Man and various characters you might recognise.

From 2.30pm untill 4.30pm Frostie will also be entertaining the crowd with spontaneous walkabouts where he will be making balloon animals and performing close up magic for kids.

This year the fete will be held on Friday 19th August.

Entry Cost:

  • £7 adults

  • £3 child (under 16)

All the organisers and helpers give up their time for free.
