Get ready for the highlight of the summer! The much-loved Gorey fête is back.
A community fete organised and run by volunteers with all profits going to local charities
The Gorey Fete is one of the largest annual charity events of the year.
Set in the picturesque harbour of Gorey, there is fun for all the family from beach events, face painting to fair ground rides and crown and anchor.
Expect the usual funfair, beach games, entertainment, music, spaghetti eating, the yard of ale competition and fireworks, with a few surprises in store, too, including a fancy dress competition for the kids!
Stalls include face painting, kid’s activities, jewellery, Sea Glass creations, hair braiding, kids toys and games. Keep busy with Vintage Carousels and Crown and Anchor.
Enjoy beer from Stinky Bay at the Committee Bar and a wide selection of food…Caribbean, pizza, ice cream, noodles, seafood specials, Chipstix, churros, candy floss, speciality burgers and hotdogs, fresh hog roast and more…
