These extensive terraced and formal gardens are open by kind permission of the current owners. The beautifully manicured lawn is surrounded by beds flourishing with herbaceous perennials. Mature spring flowering shrubs flank the paths leading to the valley area, and beneath them bluebells, primroses and foxgloves abound. Hedges of yew, viburnum, conifers and beech create a series of gardens, including a rose and peony garden. Grey Gables sits in seven and a half acres of terraced and formal garden, with large areas of natural wooded bank and many indigenous species of trees. The garden features mature spring-flowering shrubs, including magnolias, rhododendrons and azaleas, abound, together with beds of flourishing herbaceous perennials.

Directions, Parking & Accessibility
Take the turning on A1 up to Mont au Roux and follow the road for 800m then take the second turning to the left into Rue du Bocage. Branded yellow road signs will be placed at main junctions to direct visitors to the Open Garden main entrance and parking area. Disable parking is available opposite the main parking at the back of the house.
The cream teas area and lawn will both be accessible for wheelchair users.
