A guided walk to celebrate the life and times of Artist, LGBTQ+ Icon and war-time resistance fighter, Marcel Moore
A special anniversary walking tour that will focus more in depth on the remarkable Marcel Moore, born Suzanne Malherbe.
Marcel is the lesser known, but no less remarkable ‘partner in crime’ of Claude Cahun. Together, they pushed artistic and social boundaries. They also managed to ‘push the buttons’ of their Nazi occupiers whilst living in Jersey between 1940-1945.
The tour will be one hour and take in the area where Marcel and Claude used to holiday, then live … and the site that became their final resting place.
