Harvest Sheaf Making and Cream Tea JH Members’ Event

JH Members can join us for an afternoon of traditional baking and seasonal craft at Hamptonne.

Using a simple bread recipe, learn how to shape and create your own harvest sheaf loaf to take home and enjoy. Harvest sheaf breads have long been associated with harvest celebrations, symbolising gratitude for a successful harvest and the importance of bread as a staple food. During the workshop, you’ll discover a little of the history behind this charming tradition while creating your own decorative loaf.

While your bread is baking, relax and enjoy a cream tea in Hamptonne Café, included in the ticket price. Your cream tea includes a freshly baked scone with jam and cream, together with your choice of tea or coffee.
