THE TIDAL YEAR
HAVRE DES PAS LIDO
Following the death of her brother, Freya Bromley challenged herself to swim every tidal pool in mainland Britain and set out on a journey of self-discovery. Join her in conversation with Festival Patron (and avid sea swimmer) Cathy Rentzenbrink, as she discusses grief, sisterhood and the healing power of wild swimming.
The Tidal Year is both a compelling narrative of the healing power of wild swimming and an exploration of grief, love and sisterhood in the modern age.
‘A moving and memorable book…Her writing is as contained, clear and as powerful as the changing tides she swims in. She is a talent to watch.’ – Raffaella Barker
