Words really are the foundation of everything in business. Companies are founded with legal documents. Contracts of all kinds require skilful use of words. The right words make all the difference to the way we deal with customers and colleagues.
In this session Simon Nash discusses some of the aesthetics and ethics of business communication, using examples from internal and external documents. The session will be interactive with plenty of time for questions.
Simon is a local business leader, entrepreneur, author and publisher. After a successful corporate career in 2017 he founded the Insight Group – advising businesses based on “Great Ideas about People that Work”. He is also the author of Jersey’s only published book on Selection Interviewing, which sold copies in Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America. During lockdown he co-founded Unfold Media a local publishing company with nine titles in print.
