JSPCA Favourite Animal Moments Photo Competition 2027

We’re inviting islanders of all ages to pick up their cameras and capture the special bond between animals and people in Jersey. Whether it’s your pet at home, wildlife in the wild, or a farm animal in the field — we want to see Jersey’s animal moments.

Winning photographs will feature in the official JSPCA 2027 Calendar, with proceeds supporting animal welfare services across the island. Sponsored by Islands Insurance.

How to enter

You must be a resident of Jersey, Channel Islands
Choose your age category
Submit up to three photographs (high resolution and ideally JPEG format)
Photos must be your own original work
Basic editing is permitted — AI-generated images are not

Little Paws Photographer: Ages 5-8
Young Animal Photographer: Ages 9-12
Teen Photographer: Ages 13-17
Adult Photographer: Age 18+

Judging and prizes

Entries will be judged on creativity, composition, originality and how well they capture the competition theme. The judges’ decision is final.

Winners in each category will be featured in the JSPCA 2027 Calendar. The overall winner’s photograph will appear on the front cover. Category prizes include a photography voucher, certificate and JSPCA merchandise.
