Join our Conservation Officer, Louise Whale, for a guided walk around Grouville Marsh – one of the most important freshwater wetlands in the east of the Island. As the marsh is normally closed to the public, this is a rare chance to explore the site, learn about the habitat management taking place, and understand why it’s designated as a Site of Special Interest (SSI). During the walk, we’ll also meet Dave Buxton from the Channel Island Bird Ringing Scheme, who will introduce us to some of the fascinating bird species found within the marsh, viewed up close. Children under 18 must be supervised.
