Jersey society saw massive changes from the late 1700’s to the early 1900’s.

Join guide Melanie Cavey on this gentle walk around Liberty Wharf and St Helier harbour and hear the stories of how this former area of sand dunes was reclaimed and warehouses, merchant’s homes, bustling hotels and a railway built and the old dilapidated port developed into an impressive harbour.

Route: Starting at Trenton Square on the Esplanade and finish at the Maritime Museum.
