Silent Garden Puppet Show at the Mill

The Trust’s award-winning puppet show featuring Cyril the Squirrel and Friends returns to Jersey’s only remaining working watermill this summer.

Using a brilliant mix of skilful puppetry and live action, the show tells the story of two children who convince their grandparents to transform their barren garden into an oasis for wildlife.

Supported by The Jersey Community Foundation with funds from the Channel Islands Lottery.

Please allow plenty of time to get to the mill.

If you are driving to the site, please park at the Mill Pond (Duck Pond) and use the shared cycle/footpath – approx. 10 minute walk.

Written for 4 – 7 year olds, but a magical and immersive experience for all the family.

“We went to see the silent puppet show in St Peter with our 4.5 year old and 2.5 year old. I wanted to write to say how AMAZING it was. We all loved it and they have been talking about Fern Valley ever since and really enjoying the book. “

“a magical presentation of how to make climate change fun, interesting and useful… The performers were great.”
