Wildlife & Wellness Walk – Samarès

This week we are returning to St Clement for a not to be missed visit to the less well known orchid meadow at La Blinerie.
The Jersey Orchid grows here in profusion along with many other wet meadow species, all enjoyed by the butterflies and bees who have been busy in the recent warm weather.
We will also be on the look out for Marsh Harrier and Buzzard who nest in this area. Great Spotted Woodpecker, Great Tit and Blue Tit are resident in the surrounding woodland and hedgerows.
