"Mother and Daughter, Gail and Gemma, are the founders of Florence James. We were established in November 2014 and our small business was born out of a passion for all things home fragranced! Our business was named Florence James in memory of Gail’s Mother, Gemma’s Grandmother. In 2018, we became proud winners of the prestigious #SBS award run by ex Dragon from Dragons Den, Theo Paphitis.

Then in 2019, we were recognised by businesswoman, Jacqueline Gold CBE and awarded a prestigious Women In Business #WOW badge.

Our passion led us to start by making candles in Gemma’s kitchen and now we offer a variety of products from hand poured candles and wax melts to rooms mists and reed diffusers. The scents in the our product range have been inspired by childhood memories and also feature some classic favourites.We hand pour our candles that are infused with luxurious and premium fragrances. They are vegan friendly and paraben free. The wooden wicks that we use produce a lovely flame and a subtle crackle when burning. Our beautifully scented diffusers are a subtle way to fragrance any room. We use reeds that are designed to give an excellent fragrance throw and are designed not to clog. To activate, remove the silver collar, discard the cardboard disc and then replace the collar. To give an instant burst of luxurious fragrance to refresh any room, just spray one of our room mists.
