George Pearce Photography

My name is George Pearce and I am a landscape and still-life photographer based in Jersey. I specialise in black & white images; in my view, black & white images have a level of depth, tone and atmosphere which is often lost in colour images.

My love for photography started when my Granddad lent me his Canon SLR camera to use on a family trip to Paris. I loaded that camera up with black & white film and took as many photos as I could; sadly, most of them turned out to be blurry or over-exposed.

Since then, I have taken cameras with me wherever I go. At the moment most of the content on my website features images that I have captured during my travels through France. In the coming year, I am hoping to build up a portfolio of images that reflects the beauty of my Island home, Jersey.
