Le Braye in St Ouen`s Bay is a soft golden sandy beach very popular with the locals due to it being more sheltered than other parts of the bay. This beach is ideal for families due to its cleanliness and the many watersports activities available here including boogie boarding and surfing.

Surf boards and boogie boards can be hired from the nearby shack as well as wet suits and other beach accessories. Lifeguards also operate along the length of the beach
The shack is a former German fortification from the occupation of the island during the second world war and a gun emplacement can also be found within the sea wall. The bay is abundant with historical landmarks including Corbiere Lighthouse and La Rocco Tower which also provide some fantastic views
Parking facilities are good although the car parks fill quickly there is roadside parking along the length of the bay and there are also many places where you can stop for refreshments and ice-creams along the bay whilst enjoying the scenic and natural beauty
Other facilities here include ballooned wheelchairs for the disabled
