We are thrilled to invite you to our annual Easter Saturday Duck Race 2024, kindly sponsored by Romerils, which promises to be an exciting and fun-filled event for all ages!
Join us on Saturday 30th March at the picturesque Le Perquage Stream – a tranquil waterway that can be accessed from the Goose on the Green car park or Sandybrook, opposite Paperclix. You can easily find the location by visiting what3words: https://w3w.co/contacts.snakeskin.flits.
As the highlight of the day, the duck race promises to be an exciting spectacle. For just £4, you can purchase a duck and watch as hundreds of these recycled ducks are launched into the stream at precisely 3:00 pm. Cheer on your favourite duck as they race down the stream, and see if they’re one of the lucky winners! We’ll be awarding fabulous prizes to the first three ducks to reach the finish line, as well as the last duck to arrive. But that’s not all – we’ve got plenty of other attractions to keep you entertained throughout the day. Bring your family along and enjoy free activities such as the Stormtroopers, Hook-a-Duck, a visit from the Easter Bunny, Facepainting and Hoops & Glitter. And when you’re feeling peckish, be sure to sample the delicious food on offer from the talented team at Beresford Street Kitchen.
