The first competitive racing event of the festival, the Moonlight sprint features a wide array of Classic, vintage and modern machinery. Competitors aim to get the fastest time over the 440 yard or quarter mile Victoria Avenue course with the best launches from the line leading to the fastest possible times and speeds well in excess of 100 mph .
