This coming Saturday, 26th August at 1.15, Guernsey Military Motors & Cycles will be displaying some of their vehicles outside of the Museum.
There will be a few Daimler Dingo’sas well as a Jeep in British livery and motorcycles. (Military Vehicles arriving at 1.15)
In addition local Author and Historian Paul Burnal will be at the museum with his excellent range of books all of which will be for sale and he will sign them for you.
A further addition to all of the above, Mark Lamerton, Author and local Historian will also be coming down for the afternoon and will be bringing copies of his excellent books “Liberated by Force 135” (2 book set) which will be at the reduced price of £35 instead of the usual £39 and he will sign them for you as well.
And Guernsey Author and Historian Simon Hamon will also be at the museum with his book “Images of Occupation”.
This is a great opportunity to pick up some of the best books on the Occupation/Liberation and get them signed.
So in addition to a number of local and visiting military vehicles there will be 2 local authors waiting to sign their books for you as well as being able to visit the Museum. It will be a great afternoon so why not come on down and have a look.
